HCF is tapped into new Health & Safety legislation that will impact on the industry and provides support through networking groups on meeting some of the requirements of new legislation as well as providing lobbying support on key regulation/legislation issues.

To assist our members in striving for best practice in SHE performance we have supported and developed a number of projects. These include supporting closer links between members and the local emergency planning community and by producing joint COMAH Communication booklets with members, which have been sent to communities living near chemical sites to make them aware of action to take in case of an emergency.
