Post Title: Energy Manager

Location: Facilities Directorate – Estates and Buildings Section

An exciting and challenging post has been created for an experienced dynamic individual to assume responsibility for energy management and procurement.  The successful candidate will be expected to develop, maintain, update and implement the University’s Energy Policy and Strategy.  He/she will also become involved in identifying energy saving schemes and taking steps to achieve their implementation, subject to budget constraints, and will be expected to prepare regular reports for relevant bodies.

Candidates should possess a suitable qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, have experience in managing energy within a large organization, be familiar with legislative requirements, such as the Building Regulations, and have knowledge of energy procurement and supply contracts.

Salary range £23457 - £30607 pa.
