Yorkshire Forward is celebrating the passion and talent of organisations and individuals who are driving innovation in our region through the launch of

Innovator/08 – the first ever Yorkshire and Humber Innovation Awards. So if you’re an innovator in your field, who has successfully delivered a new business idea, then they want to hear from you!

Innovator/08 has been established by Yorkshire Forward, together with key regional and national supporters including the CBI, Institute of Directors and Research Councils UK, to celebrate and reward the amazing innovation and creativity that is ripe in the region’s businesses and universities. Innovator/08 aims to identify the innovations with staying power, and to pick out organisations and individuals with the capacity to inspire yet more creativity and innovation in the future.

Innovator/08 opened for applications on 5^th November 2007, and will culminate in a prestigious awards ceremony at Leeds Town Hall on 5th March 2008. The closing date for applications is the 5^th February 2008.
