Dear Colleague,

ChemEng08 is this year’s leading UK event for chemical engineers and the process industries. It’s an experience not to be missed for exhibitors and visitors alike.

With 11 weeks to go, over 125 exhibitors have already booked their places. Supported by a programme of technical seminars and discussions across five seminar suites and the IChemE Global Forum theatre, there really is something for everyone.

An international audience will be on hand for what promises to be the ideal opportunity to network, learn and debate.

Registration to the full seminar programme costs just £99 for 2 days including a sandwich lunch. Students can attend free of charge.

Admission to exhibition area only free of charge.

Register on line at www.chemeng08.com

Day one is dedicated to the next generation of chemical engineers with activities and talks for schoolchildren and students. Highlights include former NASA Astronaut Al Sacco Jr. discussing how his chemical engineering career took him, quite literally, out of this world. Dr Rachel Cooke (Cadburys) will reveal the chemical engineering expertise behind some of our favourite confectionary in Why Chocolate Bars Need Chemical Engineers. Plus all the fun of the Ferrari Pit Stop Challenge.

Days two and three are packed with a range of seminars, presentations and workshops. Day two themes include Opportunities & Challenges of emerging markets; Chemical Engineering Education; Sustainability; and Energy.

Day three includes the Global Forum Debate – ‘More Innovation and Less Legislation?’, as well as sessions discussing the Environment; Food and Drink; Water; and Biosystems.
