NATIONAL SKILLS CONFERENCE AND DINNER

THURSDAY 30 APRIL 2009, 9.00AM - 5.00PM,

DINNER 7.30PM - 11.00PM  @ YORK RACECOURSE

 

A One Day Conference that will deliver solutions to the Skills Issues facing the UK's Process Industries.

 

This one day conference will feature a range of high profile speakers, keynote speeches, case studies, master class and workshop sessions which aim to help you deliver solutions to the skills issues facing the UK's Process Industries, which encompasses Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Polymers. The Conference will:

 

·   Provide a clear focus on solutions to the real skills gaps and shortages that employers are facing in their workforces

·   Present the Academy's Products & Services designed and developed in consultation with representative employers from the Process Industry

·   Facilitate networking between training providers and employers to effectively establish a UK wide training infrastructure that responds to and supports the sectors needs

·   Help employers recruit, retain and upskill teams of talented individuals to drive the sector growth and create a globally competitive workforce

·   Raise awareness of Process Industries as a career choice for potential and future employees
